Bartender/Server: To perform the serving and bartending duties at Ody's Lounge and Patio. Having a valid Smart Serve Certificate is required. Must have two years serving experience in a full service hotel or restaurant. Must be available days, evenings and weekends.
Dining Server: To perform service and clearing duties in Ody's Restaurant. Having a valid Smart Serve Certificate is recommended. Must have two years serving experience in a full service hotel or restaurant. Must be available days, evenings and weekends.
Dining Room Buser: Clearing and setting of tables and ensuring that all supplies are properly stocked. Attend to all guests in a proficient and courteous manner. Must be available evenings and weekends.
Porter: Duties include setting up and tearing down tables and equipment for banquet functions. Knowledge of audiovisual operation and experience in the service industry are positives. Able to physically lift and carry heavy items on a continuous basis and be available in the evenings and weekends.
Banquet Server: Must have the capability to carry full trays and have experience as a server. Having a Smart Serve Certificate is an asset and you must be available on weekends.
Sous Chef: Assist in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen. Organize staff, monitor inventories, prepare food for both Ody's and Banquets and assist the Chef in other duties. Must be available to work all shifts and have ten years experience.
Night Kitchen Manager: Supervise the kitchen and staff in the evening and prepare food on the line and for banquets. Must be available in the evenings and weekends and have 5 years experience as a cook.
First Cook: Preparation and cooking on the line and for large banquets. Three to five years experience is required and must be available to work all shifts including weekends.
Breakfast Cook: Duties include the cooking on the line in the morning, preparation of the buffet for lunch and any other preparation for functions throughout the day. Three to five years experience is preferred and must be available in the mornings and on weekends.
Prep Cook: Preparation of food for the line and for banquets as well as cooking on the line when needed. Two years experience is required and must be available to work all shifts.
Dishwasher: Wash dishes and help in food preparation as well as maintaining a clean kitchen environment. Must be available to work days, nights and weekends.
Housekeeper: To clean the guest rooms in a quick and efficient manner while keeping up to the high quality standards that we maintain at the hotel. Must be available on weekdays and weekends.
A.M./P.M. Cleaner: Cleaning all public areas of the hotel as well as guest rooms. No experience necessary but must be available to work different shifts and weekends.
Guest Service Agent: To perform front office duties for different shifts including check-in and check-out of guests, posting charges, cash handling, telephone operation and taking reservations. Previous experience is preferred and computer knowledge with an education in the hospitality industry is recommended.
Maintenance: The ability to do odd jobs in a wide variety of areas in the Hotel and its property. To upkeep the property and to be proficient in the preventative maintenance program. Must be available to work different shifts and weekends.
